Cris Herrera is one of San Diego's busiest
and most active DJs and promoters, always consistently pushing the
city's house scene beyond its limits. With several residencies and
his involvment with venues such as The Onyx Room, Spin, and events
such as Art of Sound and Fuquet, Cris has successfully built a solid
following among San Diego's House Music community. I also had the
opportunity to work with Cris as co-resident at SOULEIL.

Beneath his friendly smile and unassuming
character, you would never guess that Ivan Gregory was partially
responsible for the birth of the Mid-Atlantic house music scene.
With residencies and guest appearances from the Washington D.C./
Baltimore area, to New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, & Currently...
San Diego, Los Angeles & San Francisco. Ivan Gregory has been
rockin’ the decks since the late ‘80s with artists such
as Dee-lite, Josh Wink, Charles Feelgood, Derrick Carter, Gene Farris,
and Marques Wyatt, among others. In
2006, Ivan produced the critically acclaimed Underground Sound of
DC electronica compilation (Tone13 Recordings), which featured the
brilliant jazz breaks of his own “Live at the Majestic,"
as well as hot cuts by Fort Knox Five, Holmes Ives, and a spicy
new remix of Thievery Corporation's "The Heart's a Lonely Hunter"
featuring David Byrne.
Since moving to San Diego in 2008, Ivan has been delivering his
unique, deep house sound via regular guest spots at Moonshake, Habitat,
and Dive, as well as residencies at Lei Lounge, The Office, U-31,
and Currently @ Bar Dynamite Wednesdays. When not in the mix, Ivan
can be found working in the studio on his much-anticipated, next
music release.

Thapelo Mashiloane (DJ Mashtee) was born in
Gauteng, Johannesburg. He is currently studying Geography at the
University of Johannesburg but has been honing his skills on the
decks for 4 years citing DJ Christos and Black Coffee as his inspiration.
Mashtee is also a part of the excecutive team at Mixxmasterz which
is a a DJ society at the University of Johannesburg and was founded
by DJ Euphonik. The group aims to help the growth of new and up
and coming DJs. He is currently an instructor at Mixxmasterz. Enjoy

Meet JaBig, a House Music DJ from Montreal, Canada and co-owner
of Gotsoul Recordings, a record label that specializes in the release
of deep and soulful sounds.
In 1998, JaBig began his DJ career, a professional journey that
has taken him far and wide, from Johanesburg, South Africa to Rio
de Janeiro, Brazil. For over a decade, he has performed at some
of the world’s most prestigious events and venues, such as
Cielo in New York City, Nikki Beach in Miami, the Red Bull Montreal
Formula 1 Grand Prix Week-End Party, the Miami Winter Music Conference,
and the Montreal International Jazz Festival.
JaBig has lived and traveled all over the
Globe, immersing himself in diverse cultural centers and habitats
along the way. His life experiences have inspired his musical tastes
and talents–he possesses a signature sound that fuses electronic
dance music with folkloric sounds and flavors, a style that fully
expresses the influence and variety of his upbringing and travels.A
bona fide DJ, JaBig does not release formulaic music so as to appeal
to a wide demographic and gain fast, easy notoriety; instead, he
lets his music and live DJ mix sets speak for themselves.Besides
a full-time DJ career, JaBig runs several music related businesses
and projects, on top of which he has many pursuits and interests
that demand his attention. Above all else, however, JaBig is an
avid traveller; he is constantly on the move, whether for work or
for play.His recent decision to embark on a round the world DJ tour
by car beginning this summer (all proceeds of which will go towards
eliminating world hunger), will therefore be the culminating experience
of his career. Not only will it combine two of his foremost passions,

Paso Doble is a DJ and producer from Algeria (North Africa) and
a lover of Afro deep house. His story began in 2002 in Spain, where
he got his first gig. He then moved to Montreal (Canada) where he’s
one of the few Dj’s representing Afro House music. Living
his passion body and soul, Paso Doble plays music from famous DJs
all over the world mainly Black Coffee, Boddhi Satva, and Little
Louie Vega. His first release was in 2011 on Cabana Records and
was a success. It was in the TOP 20 of Best Singles in Traxsouce.
The single [Honey EP] ''My World'' has been played around the World.

to Cry Track'' in Nulu Records of Anané & Louie Vega

Dj Ubnormal was born in November 1978 in South Africa, real name
Patrick Nembudani. Grew up with the love of music which developed
to Deep, Soulful, Vocal & Jazzy House Dj. Started djing in the
early 90's at high school events, Studied Radio Broadcasting in
College and also became a sound engineer, worked in numerious recording
studios until he formed his own company called Gold Vinyl Media
Inc. in 2011. Presently working on his debut album. He also has
an internet broadcasting radio station that he is busy with, soon
to be broadcasting.

Gianluca Peruzzi, was born in Arezzo in 1989. From an early age

developed a great interest in house music and the desire to know

origins inspired by the best American djs.The passion for music

With an unusual and intriguing musical upbringing-- spanning Bluegrass
to Rock, Classical to Jazz and Punk to modern day Electronica-Joplin's
musical style can truly be called eclectic. For the last 10 years,
she has been mainly recognized for her deep and funky House grooves,
but her more recent repertoire extends far beyond to include Afro-Latin-jazz
and Blues influenced Downtempo, Broken Beat and Funk. Creator of
LA based music and visual collective Pork & Beats, Joplin finds
herself building musical "environments" anywhere from
yoga studios to downtown warehouses, art galleries to Hollywood
clubs, the forest to the desert – and beyond. She has run several
successful residencies over the years, including Prana in Pasadena,
Delay in Long Beach and Venice, and a summer residency at Moonshadows
in Malibu. In May 2009 Joplin became the newest resident of Marquest
Wyatt's infamous Deep-LA, itself an institution within the House
Music scene in Los Angeles for over 10 years.
